I am eagerly waiting for ‘The Day’ when we could see our
sweet lil angel. Though ‘The Day’ is expected to be 10th November
2011, we aren’t sure of the exact day coz it’s only God’s will of when it
should happen. As expected I feel minor pain in the morning on 10th
of November. We go to the hospital, the doctor says that it’s not the delivery
pain and I can wait for one more week until I get the real delivery pain. I
insist her to check coz I have an intuition that it is delivery pain. The
doctor checks and tells me that the amniotic fluid level is very low and therefore
I have to get admitted into the hospital immediately. How careless she could be
but I know that God is always there to take care of everything.
Nurse takes me to the bed at 11 a.m. The doctor induces
pain at 2 p.m. and the pain increased. Time passed with the pain and the doctor
induces pain again at 8 p.m. After an hour, the nurse gives an injection, when
I enquire about the injection and when my delivery would happen, she says the
injection will create numbness so that I will not feel the pain and that my
delivery will happen only tomorrow.
It’s 6 a.m. 11th
November 2011 and I didn’t sleep the whole night coz of the pain, may be the
injection she gave wasn’t enough J.
The doctor induces pain again at 8 a.m. and that’s when I feel the utmost pain.
I am shouting to the core, calling God for help. Nurses around me are trying to
help me to bear the pain using gas but I shout at them for asking me to do
that. Poor gals! They are patient enough to handle any chaotic situation.
At 1 p.m. I find a way to handle the pain and I thank God
for answering my prayer. Nurses feel that I am ready to get into the labour
ward for delivery. I get into the delivery ward looking at vinod with a smile
on my face, which is an indication of my joy of seeing sarah in sometime.
At 2.47 p.m. God bless us with our sweet lil angel Sarah Michelle.
I am happily looking at the lil one and in the midst of all this I don’t even think
of asking the baby’s gender for a while. I see our gal
Doc: Did u expect a gal baby?
Me: Yes we wanted a gal
Doc: Have you decided on the name?
Me: Yeah. Her name is Michelle
Doc: Nice name. Are you a Christian?
Me: My hubby is a Christian
I am not sure if it’s God’s will but I
believe that God answers prayers. Praise be to God!
